Your Mission
As the Senior Cloud Security & Infrastructure Engineer, you will be the guardian and architect of our client's critical cloud infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and overall security posture. This highly impactful role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and a proactive security mindset, working directly across the Core Web and Core Platform teams to ensure resilience, performance, and unwavering security for their cutting-edge digital initiatives.
What You'll Own & Delive
Architect, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for new frontend and backend services.
Take charge of Cloudflare configuration and management, optimizing CDN, WAF, DNS, caching, and comprehensive edge security.
Define, implement, and continuously enhance the entire security posture, covering IAM best practices, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, advanced logging, and robust alerting mechanisms.
Develop and maintain high-performance CI/CD pipelines for both the Core Web and Core Platform teams, ensuring secure and efficient deployment cycles.
Manage and evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and version control.
Provide critical security support for the new, modern authentication service, safeguarding user access and data.
Establish and refine monitoring frameworks and incident response practices to proactively identify and mitigate threats.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or cloud infrastructure roles, with significant security responsibilities.
Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including IAM, networking, GKE or Cloud Run, Cloud Armor, and Secret Manager.
Proven experience with Cloudflare solutions: CDN, WAF, DNS, rules engine, bot management, and DDoS protection.
Demonstrable experience in establishing and hardening security postures, including least-privilege IAM, robust secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and comprehensive logging/alerting.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
Strong background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar platforms).
Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes.
Fluent English communication skills.
