As the Lead Cloud & Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in architecting, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and security that underpins our client's next generation of digital platforms. Fortify the Edge with Cloudflare: Configure and manage Cloudflare services including CDN, WAF, DNS, advanced caching, and comprehensive edge security solutions.
Define & Implement Security Posture: Own and drive the security posture across the platform, including IAM, robust secrets management, vulnerability scanning, centralized logging, and proactive alerting mechanisms.
Streamline Delivery Pipelines: Build and maintain resilient and efficient CI/CD pipelines for both the Core Web and Core Platform teams, ensuring rapid and secure deployments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Mastery: Manage and evolve all infrastructure components using Terraform, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and version control.
Secure Authentication: Provide critical security support for the new authentication service, ensuring robust user access controls.
Monitoring & Incident Response: Establish and refine monitoring solutions and incident response practices to ensure high availability and rapid resolution of security or operational events.
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive individual with a deep understanding of cloud security, DevOps principles, and infrastructure management.
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Prowess: Strong command of key GCP services, including IAM, networking, GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) or Cloud Run, Cloud Armor, and Secret Manager.
Cloudflare Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Cloudflare's CDN, WAF, DNS management, rule configuration, bot protection, and DDoS mitigation strategies.
Hands-on Security Posture: Proven experience in setting up and managing security postures, including least-privilege IAM, comprehensive secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and robust logging and alerting systems.
Infrastructure as Code: Expert-level proficiency with Terraform for managing complex cloud environments.
CI/CD Pipelines: Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar platforms.
Containerization & Orchestration: Solid understanding and practical experience with containers and Kubernetes.
Language: Fluent English communication skills are essential.
Location: Must be based in Latin America (LATAM).
