We're looking for a passionate Senior Security Engineer (x/f/m) to join our small but mighty Security Team. If you're driven to protect users and infrastructure while shaping the future of health tech, this is your opportunity.
Your Mission:
Lead Security Initiatives: Own and execute key security projects, ensuring seamless integration, comprehensive documentation, and alignment with Welltech's security goals.
Shape the Roadmap: Collaborate with leadership, providing your expertise to define and refine the security team's strategic direction.
Mentor and Empower: Guide junior team members, fostering their growth and development within the security team.
Embed Security: Work closely with engineering, IT, and product teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle and operational processes.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Regularly review processes, implement automation, and drive standardization to boost team efficiency and organizational impact.
Lead PCI-DSS Compliance: Spearhead the PCI-DSS compliance initiative, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to industry standards.
Architect Secure Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain robust security controls across Welltech's systems, networks, and cloud environments.
Proactive Threat Management: Contribute to threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response, building a proactive and resilient security posture.
Develop Security Standards: Develop and refine internal security policies, standards, and tools to support company-wide security objectives.
Foster a Security Culture: Support and lead security awareness programs, cultivating a strong security culture throughout the organization.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously evaluate emerging threats, technologies, and practices, driving improvements to Welltech's overall security maturity.
What You'll Bring:
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience, with a proven track record of implementing and managing security solutions.
Security Expertise: Solid understanding of security principles, vulnerabilities, and common attack techniques.
Coding Skills: Proficiency with Python, especially writing Lambda functions.
Containerization: Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
DevSecOps: Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and secure deployment practices.
Cloud Expertise: Very good knowledge of cloud platforms - AWS or Google Cloud.
PCI-DSS Knowledge: Big plus: Solid Experience with PCI.
Bonus Points: Nice to have: Experience with application security, DLP platforms, and observability.
