The Mission:
We're seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. You'll be on the front lines, safeguarding digital infrastructure, rapidly detecting threats, and driving continuous improvement in our security processes. What You'll Do:
Defend: Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and events using AI-powered systems, with a strong emphasis on the Google SecOps platform (formerly Google Chronicle).
Respond: Execute incident response procedures, including threat containment, eradication, recovery, and root cause analysis.
Document & Improve: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, create detailed incident reports, and contribute to evolving SOC playbooks.
Collaborate: Partner with IT, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to enhance customer security posture and integrate new security capabilities.
Protect: Participate in on-call rotations to address critical security incidents, ensuring 24/7 protection.

What You'll Bring:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (preferred).
Solid technical skills in at least one of the following: Windows or Linux system administration, Cloud technologies, DevOps practices, IAM (Active Directory, Cloud IAM, SSO, PKI, etc.), network administration, or application development. Working knowledge of other areas is a plus!
1+ years of experience in a SOC or similar security role, with hands-on experience in security analytics, threat hunting, or incident response (preferred).
Experience with security technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls) and a solid understanding of security frameworks (NIST, MITRE, etc.).
A genuine passion for applying AI/ML and automation to solve real-world cybersecurity problems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:
Hands-on experience with Google SecOps (formerly Google Chronicle) or Microsoft Sentinel/Defender platforms.
Familiarity with SOAR platforms and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
