The Opportunity: Senior Technical Leader, GenAI Security

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and hands-on engineering leader with deep expertise in Generative AI (GenAI), Software Engineering, and Cybersecurity. As a Senior Technical Leader, you will be a pivotal force in developing next-generation solutions focused on securing GenAI frameworks. You will research, architect, and develop scalable technologies that will set the industry standard for secure and compliant GenAI systems.

You will play a central role in shaping our product strategy, collaborating with a cross-functional team of domain experts and software engineers to deliver solutions that address critical market needs. Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-quality, scalable software products supporting our customer’s security, safety, and privacy of GenAI and LLM-based systems with advanced guardrail capabilities.
Lead cutting-edge research on securing Generative AI frameworks, emphasizing safety guardrails and compliance.
Integrate GenAI systems including LLM, VectorDB, RAG pipelines, agents, and guardrails into the delivery of our product features.
Architect and deploy robust frameworks to govern AI systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
Stay at the forefront of industry trends in GenAI tooling, cloud-native solutions, and software development practices, applying insights to improve product capabilities.
Collaborate with GenAI researchers and product teams to integrate advanced GenAI and LLM capabilities into production-grade software systems.
Evaluate and integrate open-source tools and third-party platforms to accelerate product development.
Provide thought leadership in GenAI governance and security, mentoring cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
12-15 years of experience in a software engineering role with AI/ML, security, and at least 4+ years specializing in GenAI and LLMs, and a focus on scaling of GenAI solutions.
Expertise developing and maintaining GenAI workflows including fine-tuning LLMs, embedding and vector databases, Agent & RAG workflows, prompt engineering techniques.
Experience developing and scaling cloud solutions using APIs, containers and microservice architectures with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, etc.
Experience with integrating software products using authentication and authorization including cloud IAM, SSO, JWT, oAuth, etc.
Strong programming skills in Python with experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Experience with large-scale unstructured data processing, including NLP, computer vision, or multimodal AI applications.
Familiarity with version control tools, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Solid understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
Advanced programming skills in Python.
Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) (preferably with oAuth) and Agent to Agent (A2A) protocols.
Understanding of data and AI regulatory and security frameworks and standards including, NIST, OWASP, EU AI, etc.

Working Model:
This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days a week in the office. (Note: Work model may change to accommodate business needs).
