We're looking for a passionate and experienced Product Security Engineer to join our growing Cybersecurity organization and play a pivotal role in maturing our industry-leading Product Security Program.
Ready to make a real impact on product security? As a key player in our Vulnerability Management function and product security initiatives, you'll work collaboratively with Product Development and DevOps teams to ensure vulnerabilities are remediated within SLAs. This is your chance to balance security with business objectives, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, and creatively solve complex product security challenges.
This fully remote role reports to the Sr. Director of Product Security and is based in the US.
What You'll Do:
Lead Product Security Vulnerability Management efforts and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely remediation, providing guidance on vulnerability management best practices.
Maintain and mature our Product Security tooling suite, including SAST, SCA, DAST, and ASPM solutions.
Gain deep understanding of our current product security program state and collaborate with the team to define our future state and multi-year roadmaps.
Leverage your knowledge of current product security best practices and industry trends to advise on the secure design of Delinea products and services.
Participate in expanding and maturing Delinea's S-SDLC program.
Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date on the threat landscape, current technologies, security compliance requirements, standards, and industry trends.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, with a minimum of 2 years in a Product Security role that includes Vulnerability Remediation and AppSec tooling (SAST, SCA, DAST, etc.).
Familiarity with the current Product Security threat landscape and best practices.
Experience with the following technologies:
Integration of security testing tools into development pipelines.
Defect tracking (Jira, Bugzilla, ServiceNow, or similar).
Source code management (ADO, GitLab, GitHub, or similar).
Application security testing tools (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, or similar).
Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to describe technical security issues in plain language.
We'd Love to See:
Familiarity with Application Security Posture Management tools.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, risk management principles, and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, GDPR).
Understanding of cloud security technologies including container security, serverless security, network and application security, and access management.
Software engineering and/or development experience.
Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, Security+, or similar).
Proficiency with Azure and AWS.
