The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Product Security Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and maturing our industry-leading Product Security Program. This role is critical in maturing Delinea’s Vulnerability Management function and rolling out key Product Security initiatives.

As a Product Security Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Product Development and DevOps teams, ensuring vulnerabilities are remediated within SLAs. You'll need to balance security with business objectives, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and creatively solve complex Product Security challenges.

This is a remote role based in Mexico City, Mexico, reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Security.

What You'll Be Doing:
Lead Product Security Vulnerability Management efforts, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely remediation and providing guidance on vulnerability management best practices.
Maintain and mature Product Security tooling (e.g., SAST, SCA, DAST, ASPM).
Develop a deep understanding of our current product security program, partnering with the team to define the future state and multi-year roadmaps.
Leverage your knowledge of current product security best practices and industry trends to advise on the secure design of Delinea products and services.
Participate in expanding and maturing Delinea’s S-SDLC program.
Stay ahead of the curve on the threat landscape, current technologies, security compliance requirements, standards, and industry trends to help achieve our cybersecurity goals.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional work experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a Product Security role focusing on Vulnerability Remediation and AppSec tooling (SAST, SCA, DAST, etc.).
Solid understanding of the current Product Security threat landscape and best practices.
Hands-on experience with:
Integrating Security testing tools into development pipelines.
Defect tracking systems (Jira, Bugzilla, ServiceNow, or similar).
Source code management (ADO, GitLab, GitHub, or similar).
Application security testing tools (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, or similar).
Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical security issues in clear, plain language.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Bonus Points:
Familiarity with Application Security Posture Management tools.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, risk management principles, and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, GDPR).
Understanding of cloud security technologies, including container security, serverless security, network and application security, and access management.
Software engineering and/or development experience.
Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, Security+, or similar).
Proficiency with Azure and AWS.
