What You'll Do:
As a Senior Security Operations Engineer, you will be a critical guardian of our cutting-edge AI infrastructure. You will:
Serve as a trusted security advisor, articulating business risks and influencing leadership and partner teams to foster a security-first culture.
Strategically harden our cloud-native environments (AWS, OCI, GCP) by architecting and implementing "secure by default" designs and features across network, tooling, and processes.
Drive the adoption of secure development practices by designing and deploying robust, scalable security architectures using infrastructure-as-code and reusable code libraries.
Manage and optimize IAM/RBAC for our multi-cloud infrastructure, collaborating with IT to streamline authentication and authorization for unified access control.
Deploy, configure, and operationalize advanced security services and tools, including SIEM, SOAR, domain monitoring, endpoint protection, and comprehensive cloud security tooling.
Lead rapid incident response efforts, conduct thorough post-incident analysis, and implement proactive hardening measures to prevent recurrence.
Support and enhance our compliance initiatives through continuous control monitoring, evidence collection, and efficient remediation efforts.
Leverage data by gathering and analyzing security metrics to identify trends, address cross-team security dependencies, and drive continuous improvement.
Act as an empathetic problem solver, understanding developer concerns and employing constructive, flexible approaches to build innovative and practical security solutions.
Who You Are:
You're a proactive, hands-on security engineer with a passion for automation and securing complex, high-scale cloud environments. You likely have:
5+ years of hands-on experience in SecOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Threat Detection & Response, or software development with a strong emphasis on security tool onboarding and optimization.
A keen interest in automating security controls and processes, with a proven track record of implementation.
Extensive experience managing and securing major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI) and Kubernetes environments.
Deep familiarity with CI/CD systems, Git, and Terraform for automating infrastructure and security workflows in cloud environments.
Expertise in one or more of the following: infrastructure automation, network segmentation, system hardening, container security, cloud security concepts, and security observability.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Golang and/or Python.
The ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, making informed decisions with limited data and adapting quickly to evolving threats.
A flexible and constructive approach to problem-solving, always seeking innovative solutions.
Strong judgment in "build vs. buy" decisions, capable of both developing custom solutions and evaluating external tools effectively.
An excellent understanding of secure engineering best practices, able to articulate complex problem statements and propose clear solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Even if some of the above doesnβt line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply! We believe diverse skills and perspectives are invaluable.
