Your Mission: Safeguarding Our Enterprise
As a Senior Corporate Security Engineer, you will be a critical guardian of Airwallex’s resilience. This highly technical role thrusts you into the core of detecting, investigating, and preventing sophisticated security issues across our modern corporate environment. You'll operate across digital forensics, incident response, and the development and deployment of cutting-edge security tools, protecting everything from our endpoints to our identity providers.

What You'll Be Building & Doing:

Lead end-to-end incident response, from forensic analysis to remediation, for critical threats like malware, sophisticated phishing attacks, and unauthorized access attempts.
Architect, develop, and rigorously test cutting-edge corporate security controls designed for scalability and impact in a hyper-growth environment.
Proactively hunt for emerging threats across diverse log sources and corporate systems, translating findings into actionable intelligence and defensive strategies.
Design and implement robust security alerts and workflows to streamline and enhance our incident response lifecycle.
Strengthen and remediate security vulnerabilities across our corporate IT infrastructure, including identity providers, endpoints, corporate networks, and other critical platforms.
Deploy, configure, and operate a suite of advanced security tooling with a laser focus on maximizing impact and efficiency.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
Your Profile:

A profound passion for tackling the complex security challenges inherent in high-growth technology startups.
Self-motivation and a relentless drive to continuously learn new skills and deepen existing expertise.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in a security engineering or incident response role within a dynamic tech company.

Technical Prowess:

Deep expertise in EDR/XDR platforms (e.g., Crowdstrike) and SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk) for advanced threat detection and analysis.
Mastery of common attacker tools and techniques (TTPs), with a proven ability to design effective detection/prevention mechanisms and execute high-fidelity incident investigations.
Hands-on experience securing major cloud platforms (GCP, Alibaba Cloud, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Proficiency with identity management solutions (Okta), collaboration suites (Google Workspace), and cloud-based VPN services is preferred.
Extensive experience securing macOS, Windows, and Linux endpoints, including expertise with MDM solutions like Kandji, Intune, or similar.
Strong scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate security tasks and build custom tools.

Collaboration & Communication:

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical security and software concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
