Postgres Security Engineer - Secure the Core!

You'll collaborate with customers, partners, product, engineering, support, and success teams to maintain a secure, stable, and high-performing Postgres foundation. Your Mission:
Dive deep into PostgreSQL internals to harden and optimize security features.
Develop and maintain PostgreSQL extensions in both C and Rust.
Master PostgreSQL's permission model and security features, including RLS, roles, and grant systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in managed PostgreSQL environments, including custom extensions, performance bottlenecks, and resource contention.
Build, test, and own idempotent deployments to thousands of running Postgres instances.
Become a PostgreSQL source code whisperer, understanding the query planner, executor, and storage engine mechanics.
Contribute to and optimize multi-tenant database architectures for PostgreSQL at scale.
Is This You?
5+ years of experience in Postgres security, encryption, RLS, and permissions.
Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working in asynchronous or globally distributed teams.
Driven to solve real-world problems for developers.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly.
