We're looking for a proactive and highly responsible Security Engineer to champion the security of our sprawling cloud ecosystem and corporate devices. With over 2000 users and 1000+ devices, this isn't about manual fixes – it's about building scalable, automated hardening processes and systems. Your expertise will be critical in enabling SKELAR's rapid growth without compromising data integrity or control.
Your Mission: Cloud Infrastructure Hardening: Conduct deep security reviews of critical SaaS services (GWS, Dropbox, Notion, Slack). Beyond identifying vulnerabilities, you'll implement architectural changes to decisively minimize data leak risks. What You'll Bring: Identity & Access Expertise: Profound knowledge of Okta (SSO, MFA, Lifecycle management, Workflows). Endpoint & Infrastructure Acumen: Hands-on experience with Jamf (Pro/Protect) for macOS device management. Automation & Engineering Mindset: Proficiency in automating tasks with Python or Bash, including service API interactions. Strategic Communication: Ability to articulate complex security solutions clearly to business stakeholders. Bonus Points: Experience implementing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). Why SKELAR? Identity & Access Management: Drive our Okta strategy. You'll ensure secure, user-friendly access across all systems, aligning with Zero Trust principles (MFA, Adaptive Auth, Scoping).
Apple Ecosystem Security: Master our macOS fleet via Jamf Pro and Jamf Protect. Your objective will be to enforce device compliance and automate robust endpoint threat responses.
DLP & Data Protection: Design and implement cutting-edge data loss prevention policies for cloud storage and communication platforms.
Incident Response: Handle L2/L3 incident tickets and conduct thorough investigations within our corporate environment.
Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM).
Proven track record in administering and hardening SaaS services (Google Workspace Enterprise, Slack Grid, etc.) in accordance with CIS Benchmarks.
Understanding of EDR and DLP solution principles.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for security configuration management.
Systemic Thinking: A talent for identifying process gaps and root causes, not just symptoms.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Jamf Certified Admin or Okta Certified Professional).
Understanding of SOC2 or ISO 27001 requirements.
