Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
As our Head of Security, you'll be at the forefront of protecting our cutting-edge AI research and infrastructure. This isn't just another security job; it's an opportunity to shape the security posture of a company that's redefining the future.
Develop and maintain company-wide information security policies and frameworks (US: SOC 2, NIST, GDPR; UK: ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR).
Oversee IT operations across our three offices (London, New York, San Francisco), ensuring systems, devices, and networks remain secure and reliable.
Lead incident response, risk assessments, and security awareness initiatives, staying ahead of emerging threats.
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate security tools to ensure we have the best defenses in place.
Partner with leadership to align IT and security practices with company goals, fostering a security-conscious culture.
Build scalable processes that support a fast-growing, global team, ensuring security scales with our ambition.
What You Bring to the Table:
We're looking for a security leader who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves and tackle complex challenges. If you're passionate about cybersecurity and driven to protect innovation, we want to hear from you.
10+ years of IT or information security experience, including leadership in high-growth or tech-driven environments.
Strong knowledge of network, cloud, and endpoint security (AWS / GCP / Azure).
Familiarity with key compliance frameworks (US: SOC 2, NIST; UK: ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials).
Experience implementing MDM, SSO, and IAM systems to enforce strong access controls.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical risk into practical action, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are a definite plus.
