AI Security Engineer

We're looking for a passionate and hands-on AI Security Engineer to protect our self-hosted models, LLM APIs, agents, MCPs, and the entire core AI stack from adversarial threats. Our Tech Stack: Python, NextJS, TypeScript, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL.
What You'll Do:
Design, build, and refine security mechanisms to defend our AI systems (self-hosted models, LLM APIs, agents, MCPs, etc.) against all types of adversarial behavior.
Dive deep into complex AI systems, identify architectural weaknesses, and implement effective security enhancements.
Get hands-on! Dedicate at least 50% of your time to remediating vulnerabilities and collaborating with fellow engineers to drive impactful solutions.
Plan and execute threat modeling exercises and realistic threat simulations across our diverse offerings.
Conduct thorough cybersecurity evaluations and lead AI security assessments in a cross-functional environment.
Develop innovative initiatives to improve our AI system evaluation capabilities and enhance our prevention, detection, response, and threat hunting efforts.
Provide expert guidance and training to developers, helping them proactively deter and prevent emerging threats.
What You'll Bring:
Hands-on coding and prompting experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Deep technical and process expertise in AI security services and attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Solid understanding of LLMs, AI architecture patterns, machine learning models, and related technologies like MCP.
Strong grasp of application security principles and secure coding practices.
Experience developing and implementing security procedures and policies.
Exceptional problem-solving, project management, leadership, and communication skills.
A self-motivated attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
4+ years of industry experience in a related role.
Compensation & Benefits:
The cash compensation range for this role is $250,000 - $350,000.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
