The Impact You'll Make Smart Contract Security Your Responsibilities Cloud Security Leadership Lead internal audits of our Cloud (Azure, AWS) platforms, identifying vulnerabilities and driving the implementation of industry-best practices for key management, network security, and continuous monitoring. Operational Security Excellence Pioneer the development of essential security tooling and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including sophisticated incident response manuals. Smart Contract / DeFi Security Mastery Serve as the primary security partner to the Smart Contract team, leading internal audits and establishing secure operational practices for the entire lifecycle of smart contract protocol development and maintenance. Developing systems to detect malicious transactions in the mempool and automate strategic pauses across smart contracts deployed on multiple chains. Our engineering team deploys mission-critical production software across the entire web2 and web3 stack, encompassing smart contract protocols, DeFi integrations, robust cloud infrastructure, and public API/SDKs. This intricate ecosystem demands an elite, comprehensive security posture. We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled professional who can not only develop cutting-edge solutions but also adeptly research and apply extensive knowledge across both Traditional Finance (TradFi) and Decentralized Finance (DeFi) to secure our critical software.
This role is ideal for a developer passionate about the crucial overlap of:
Cloud Security
Operational Security
Proactively develop comprehensive threat models for both first-party and third-party software, actively researching potential vulnerabilities and implementing robust patching strategies.
Collaborate closely with infrastructure engineers to detect, fix, and prevent future exploits by architecting and deploying reusable tools and streamlined processes.
Orchestrate and conduct periodic, advanced incident response training for team members, simulating realistic hacks, alert scenarios, and social engineering vectors.
Champion a security-first culture by collaborating with both technical and non-technical staff to secure non-code related attack vectors and protect the human element — often the weakest link.
Architect and implement advanced full-stack tools designed to mitigate exploits and financial risks, including:
Defining critical invariants and building real-time violation detection systems.
Strategically integrating and managing third-party security software where necessary.
Deep expertise in cybersecurity standards and advanced social engineering defenses.
Extensive experience building robust full-stack applications.
Profound knowledge of EVM security tooling, testing methodologies, and best practices.
Comprehensive understanding of common hacks and exploits within DeFi protocols.
In-depth knowledge of financial attack vectors prevalent in DeFi protocols.
Proven track record with Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, bug bounty programs, and whitehat activities.
