The Opportunity
As a Security Engineer, you'll be on the front lines, building secure systems and implementing cutting-edge security measures across our infrastructure. You'll collaborate with diverse teams, leveraging your engineering prowess and security acumen to design and develop secure software solutions.
This role demands a proactive and resilient team player ready to contribute to a cohesive security team. Whether you prefer working remotely or relocating to one of our offices in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City, we're excited to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
Design and implement scalable systems and controls to secure our global infrastructure.
Collaborate with engineering and security teams to deploy security enhancements and control changes.
Deliver impactful projects that enhance security operations, improving visibility and automating workflows.
Take a generalist approach to building security controls, balancing security expertise with broad technical skills to adapt to evolving threats.
Build enduring, high-trust partnerships across the organization.
What You'll Bring:
Deep understanding of security principles, best practices, and common vulnerabilities.
A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and address security gaps through automation and tooling.
A proven track record of delivering scalable security solutions and driving impactful changes in real-world infrastructure projects.
Expertise in cloud platform security (e.g., AWS, Azure), especially securing multi-cloud networks and designing cloud-agnostic systems.
Familiarity with container security, orchestration security, and authentication/authorization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically assess security risks.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
Excitement about collaborating with cross-functional teams to build secure, reliable systems that scale globally.
