Your Mission: Dive Deep into Cybersecurity Operations
This is more than an internship; it's a launchpad for your cybersecurity career. As our Cybersecurity Operations Intern, you'll be an integral part of our IT and security teams, gaining real-world experience across a spectrum of essential functions. You'll work directly with enterprise-grade tools and learn the practical application of security principles in a dynamic SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities & Learning Experiences:
Provide essential desktop support, managing software installations and facilitating user onboarding processes across Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.
Monitor and maintain critical network infrastructure, including hardware, Wi-Fi systems, and other components to ensure seamless operations.
Actively support core cybersecurity initiatives, including endpoint protection deployment, continuous monitoring, and log review for suspicious activity.
Engage in vendor risk assessments and contribute to our overall risk management framework, understanding how compliance translates into practice.
Develop clear and concise documentation for procedures and troubleshooting guides, enhancing our knowledge base.
Collaborate closely with our IT, InfoSec, Compliance, Engineering, and DevOps teams on cross-functional projects, gaining exposure to various facets of a tech company.
Gain practical experience with key compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701 within a cloud-based SaaS operation.
Participate in basic incident response workflows, understanding the steps from detection to resolution.
Experience using ticketing systems and managing IT assets in a professional environment.
Who You Are: The Ideal Candidate
You're a driven individual with a passion for cybersecurity, looking to transform academic knowledge into practical skills. You thrive in a learning environment and are ready to contribute from day one.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical field.
Solid foundational understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts (IP addressing, MAC addresses, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Exposure to or a strong enthusiasm for security tools and concepts (e.g., antivirus, SIEM, firewalls, threat intelligence).
An excellent problem-solver with a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-evolving security landscape.
