As a Security Consultant, you'll be on the front lines, collaborating directly with our customers to deeply understand their unique security challenges and objectives. You'll be more than just a consultant; you'll be a trusted advisor, ensuring they successfully leverage Mondoo's powerful capabilities to achieve their security goals, driving adoption, retention, and overall satisfaction. Your insights will directly influence product development and shape the future of our platform.
What You'll Be Doing:
Become a Security Sherpa: Provide expert technical support, swiftly resolving product issues and guiding customers to optimal security configurations.
Onboarding Guru: Lead new customers through a seamless onboarding process, ensuring they master Mondoo's capabilities from day one.
Solution Architect: Deliver expert advice and tailored solutions, helping customers maximize the value of Mondoo for their specific environments.
Voice of the Customer: Gather and translate customer feedback into actionable insights for our product development team, driving continuous improvement.
Knowledge Sharer: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and in-depth technical articles.
Storyteller: Identify and document compelling customer success stories, showcasing the tangible benefits and impact of Mondoo. Collaborate with marketing to amplify these stories.
Customer Champion: Advocate for customer needs and concerns within Mondoo, ensuring their voices are heard and addressed.
Metrics Master: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer success and product usage, identifying opportunities for improvement.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a technical support or customer success role within the cybersecurity industry (required).
Languages: Fluency in both German and English (required).
Relationship Builder: A proven track record of building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
Tech Stack Mastery: Extensive experience with:
Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, macOS
Cloud Platforms: VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP, K8s
DevOps Tools: Ansible, Terraform, GitHub
CRM Systems: (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) and customer support tools
Security Savvy: A deep understanding of security principles, techniques, and technologies.
Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2, BSI, GDPR).
Command Line Comfort: Comfortable navigating a Linux/Mac Terminal.
Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and APIs.
DevOps Understanding: Knowledge and experience with DevOps tools.
Problem Solver: The ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with a systematic approach.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Bonus Points: Cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), API, and DevOps tools experience are highly valued.
