<h2>Your Mission: Safeguard and Optimize</h2>

<li>Architect, deploy, and meticulously maintain core network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure unwavering high availability and peak performance.</li>
<li>Rapidly diagnose and resolve L1/L2 network connectivity challenges across diverse LAN and WAN environments with minimal downtime, ensuring business continuity.</li>
<li>Design, implement, optimize, and rigorously audit firewall policies, with a strong preference for FortiGate, ensuring robust security standards and compliance.</li>
<li>Securely manage and optimize VPN configurations (site-to-site and remote access), coupled with stringent user access controls to protect sensitive data.</li>
<li>Proactively monitor network performance and security events, leveraging advanced tools to identify and mitigate anomalies and potential threats before they escalate.</li>
<li>Efficiently manage incident and service requests via ticketing systems, ensuring swift resolution within defined SLAs and maintaining high service quality.</li>
<li>Collaborate effectively with OEM/vendor support teams for advanced troubleshooting and innovative solutions, leveraging external expertise when necessary.</li>
<li>Translate complex technical data into clear, concise reports on network performance, incidents, and strategic improvements for IT leadership, driving informed decisions.</li>
<li>Champion adherence to organizational security policies, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices, fostering a culture of security.</li>

<h2>What You Bring to the Table</h2>
<ul>
<li>A Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Network Support or a related security role.</li>
<li>Profound understanding and practical application of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewall principles, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).</li>
<li>Exceptional troubleshooting prowess combined with meticulous documentation abilities.</li>
<li>Superior verbal and written communication skills, essential for collaborating with US-based clients and internal stakeholders.</li>
<li>At least 1 year of direct, hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls, encompassing configuration, policy management, and advanced features.</li>
<li>Proven ability to thrive independently, take full ownership of projects, and drive solutions in a corporate IT environment.</li>
