The Opportunity: Corporate Security Engineer
As our Corporate Security Engineer, you won't just react; you'll build and own the foundational security posture for our entire workforce. This critical role focuses on the "people side" of our security landscape, safeguarding the devices, identities, and SaaS applications our company runs on. You'll partner closely with our Infrastructure Security Engineer, who secures our cloud and ML platform, creating a holistic security defense.
We're looking for an experienced security professional who thrives in high-growth environments, ready to make an immediate, tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities
You will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust security practices across our rapidly expanding organization:

Endpoint Security & Management

MDM Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of Mobile Device Management across our fleet, including enrollment, policy enforcement, compliance, and device offboarding.
EDR/XDR Operations: Lead detection, triage, and response efforts for all employee devices using EDR/XDR solutions.
Hardening Standards: Collaborate with IT and Engineering to define, implement, and maintain stringent endpoint hardening standards.

Corporate Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Identity Provider Management: Own corporate identity solutions, including Entra SSO, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies.
Lifecycle Management: Design and run efficient joiner-mover-leaver processes, ensuring seamless provisioning and same-day offboarding across all SaaS applications.
Credential Hygiene: Administer our Password Management solution and drive best practices for credential security across the organization.

Awareness, Governance & Incident Response

SaaS Security Review: Conduct security reviews for new SaaS applications before adoption, maintain an approved application list, and actively hunt for Shadow IT.
Collaboration Stack Security: Secure our core collaboration tools, including email, Slack, and file-sharing platforms.
Security Training: Develop and run effective phishing simulations and integrate security awareness into onboarding training programs.
Centralized Monitoring: Partner with the Infrastructure Security team to feed endpoint and identity signals into shared detection and response systems for comprehensive security monitoring.

What You'll Bring

Hands-on Experience: Proven expertise running MDM and EDR at fleet scale.
IdP Mastery: Production experience managing an Identity Provider (IdP), including SSO/SAML/SCIM, MFA, and conditional access.
Automation Skills: Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to automate repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency.
High Agency: A proactive, self-driven approach to identifying and solving complex security challenges.
Communication: Strong working English language skills.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance frameworks.
Previous experience scaling security within a high-growth startup environment.

Compensation & Benefits
We offer a highly competitive and thoughtfully structured compensation package designed to reward impact, experience, and long-term growth.

Base Salary: The anticipated salary range for this role is $165,000 - $230,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, scope, and location.
Equity: Beyond cash compensation, employees are eligible to participate in the company’s stock option program, sharing directly in Higgsfield’s long-term success and growth.
Comprehensive Benefits: A full suite of benefits designed to support your professional and personal well-being.
Impact & Growth: The opportunity to work on ambitious AI products with an experienced, fast-moving, and international team, offering significant ownership and professional growth as we scale.

Location & Work Model
This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Team members are expected to work from our San Francisco office three full days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. We value in-person collaboration, active communication, responsiveness, and close partnership across teams, and expect availability during agreed working hours with sufficient overlap with relevant team time zones.
