Your Mission: As our Lead Security Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of building and securing the platform that will empower countless developers to leverage the power of distributed computing and machine learning. You'll architect secure products, establish security best practices, and champion a security-first culture across the company.
What You'll Do:
Architect & Secure: Partner with product and engineering teams to design and build secure products, providing expert security guidance and establishing clear security requirements.
Own the Security Landscape: Take ownership of product and infrastructure security, encompassing secure architecture design, cloud provider configuration, threat modeling, and incident response planning.
Integrate & Educate: Work closely with engineering teams to seamlessly integrate security into the development lifecycle, providing the context and knowledge needed to proactively avoid security risks.
Oversee Corporate Security: Manage corporate security fundamentals, including endpoint protection, access management, and SaaS application security.
Champion Compliance: Support compliance certification efforts (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001) from a security and risk perspective, ensuring our platform meets the highest security standards.
What You'll Bring:
Deep Product Security Expertise: Extensive experience with product security and building secure applications for enterprise environments.
Communication Prowess: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey security knowledge to engineering teams through clear writing and presentations.
Cloud Security Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure security on AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
Software Development Acumen: A strong software development background, enabling you to both build and assess secure systems.
Corporate Security Program Management: Proven experience managing corporate security programs, including device management, SaaS security, and access controls.
Compliance Leadership: Experience leading or contributing to compliance certifications such as SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
